Here is a List of the contests this year, as well as contest descriptions and specifications.

ALL TATTOOS BEING ENTERED MUST BE FULLY HEALED, OR, FRESHLY DONE AT THE SHOW!! AND ARTIST MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE!! TATTOOS THAT ARE STILL HEALING WILL NOT BE JUDGED AND ENTRIES FORFEITED!

Tattoo Contests

Best Black and Grey Tattoo Contest - Small, Medium, Large Categories

Entries in the black and grey categories should comprise of at least 90% Black and Grey/Greywash tattooing. Small pops of colour will be permitted, but tattoo must comprise almost entirely of black and grey style. (White is an exception, opaque greys are not) . Category is All Inclusive on styles.

Full Colour Tattoo Contest - Small, Medium, Large Categories

Entries in the full colour categories should comrpise of at least 90% colour tattooing. Some greywash will be permitted, but tattoo must comprise almost entirely of colour ink (this includes opaque greys). Category is All Inclusive on styles

Best Arm / Leg Sleeve

Entries in the full arm/full leg sleeve category must  consist of at least 90% full coverage from wrist to shoulder or from ankle to hip, full wrap around. Some empty space such as background on patch style sleeves, or close to armpit/groin/elbow etc will be allowed. Category is All Inclusive on style and colour/greywash

Best Full Chest / Back

Entries in the full chest/back category must consist of at least 90% Chest Coverage or 80% back coverage. Entries of full adbomen/stomach will also be allowed to enter this category. Category is All Inclusive on style and colour/greywash

Best Portrait

Entries in the Portrait category must consist of at least 50% shading/colour (cannot be just linework/silhouette). Entries must be portraits of people/fantasy figures or real animals. Category is All Inclusive on size, style and colour/greywash

Best Neo Traditional

Entries in the Neo Traditional category must consist of at least 90% Neo Traditional style, some minor style additions or mashups will be allowed. Category is All Inclusive on size and colour/greywash

Best American Traditional / Traditional

Entries in the American Traditional / Traditional category must consist of at least 90% Traditional style, some minor style additions or mashups will be allowed. Category is All Inclusive on size and colour/greywash

Best Script / Lettering

Entries in the Script /Lettering category must consist of at least 90% lettering/script. Small embelishments may be judged with it such as filigree or frames and background shading, but this catgory is about the lettering, not the large tattoos with small amounts of lettering. Category is All Inclusive on size and colour/greywash - as long as its lettering.

 Best In Show Car and Motorcycle Contest

This year we will also be having a mini car and motorcycle show along with the tattoo convention. We want to bring in custom car and motorcycle builders to show off their most impressive works to the attending artists and public. We will be giving out awards for Best in show Car and Best in show Motorcycle, so bring your best and polish to impress!
